Welcome to JUSC

Jahangirnagar University Science Club (JUSC) is a pioneering student-run organization founded with a vision to foster scientific knowledge, critical thinking, and innovation across campus and beyond. Established on August 17, 2005, JUSC is the first and most prominent science-based club at Jahangirnagar University, built on the principles of curiosity, creativity, and community service.

One of our landmark initiatives, the Jahangirnagar Science Olympiad, has grown into a national platform that encourages young talents to showcase their knowledge and compete with enthusiasm. It not only tests academic excellence but also creates a space for critical dialogue, innovation, and networking among budding scientists.

Mission:

Our mission is to ignite scientific enthusiasm among students by bridging theoretical knowledge with real-world applications. Through a diverse array of events—such as science festivals, workshops, seminars, field trips, exhibitions, inter-university competitions, and outreach programs—JUSC has been consistently promoting a culture of exploration and lifelong learning.

Vision:

We operate under a multidisciplinary structure, incorporating departments like Scientific Research, Content Writing, IT Crew, Public Relations, Social Activities, Graphics Design, Video Editing, and International Affairs. This allows students from any background to contribute to scientific communication, innovation, and leadership development.
